Overview
Kevin Barry advises clients on corporate and transactional matters, with experience that spans mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, venture capital, and real estate transactions. He has served as general counsel to start‑ups, emerging companies, publicly held corporations, and private investors across a range of industries. Kevin also acts as lead counsel to several commercial real estate developers, helping them structure transactions, manage risk, and achieve strategic growth objectives.
With more than 30 years of legal experience, including many years at international law firms, Kevin brings a deep understanding of complex corporate and financial matters. He began his career at White & Case in New York City and later became a partner at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault LLP, in Boston, where he led the firm’s European Initiative and Public Company Practice Group. Kevin also served as Managing Partner of Rossway Swan Tierney Barry & Oliver, which became part of Lowndes in 2026. His work has been recognized by Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America, and Super Lawyers in multiple jurisdictions.
Since relocating to Vero Beach in 2011, Kevin has been actively involved in the Treasure Coast and Space Coast communities. His leadership experience includes serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of St. Edward’s School, Board Member of the Economic Development Commission of Florida’s Space Coast, Trustee of the Environmental Learning Center, General Counsel to the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of Octavian Village, Inc., and President and Board Member of The Research Coast Principium Foundation.
