Lowndes Completes Acquisition of Rossway Swan, Expanding Presence Across Florida’s East Coast

February 2, 2026 - Orlando, FL – Lowndes, one of Central Florida’s largest and most established law firms, today announced the completion of its acquisition of Rossway, Swan, Tierney, Barry & Oliver, P.L. (Rossway Swan). Effective February 1, former Rossway Swan attorneys and staff have officially joined Lowndes, extending the firm’s presence along Florida’s east coast.

The combination adds depth to Lowndes’ capabilities in business and corporate law, real estate, litigation, family law, estate planning, guardianship, and health care, while expanding its footprint in Brevard, Indian River, and Miami‑Dade counties.

Since the original announcement, one former Rossway Swan attorney was appointed by Governor DeSantis to serve as a judge on the 19th Judicial Circuit Court.

Attorneys previously with Rossway Swan are now practicing under the Lowndes name in Vero Beach, Miami, and Melbourne. Personnel from the Melbourne office have relocated to Lowndes’ new office at 730 East Strawbridge Avenue, Suite 200, Melbourne, Florida 32901.
