Overview
Brandon José represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial disputes, with a particular emphasis on matters involving contracts, insurance, regulatory compliance, and construction-related issues. He works with developers, contractors, architects, engineers, and other industry professionals to resolve litigation efficiently and strategically. His experience also includes representing clients in public bid and procurement protests.
He has contributed to the resolution of high-stakes litigation, including seven- and eight-figure disputes involving wrongful termination, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, licensing violations, and lien and bond claims. His experience spans arbitration, bid protests against municipalities and local agencies, and lawsuits involving surety obligations and insurance coverage.
Before joining Lowndes, Brandon served as a federal judicial intern for the Honorable Monte C. Richardson and clerked with the firm during law school. He graduated second in his class from Florida A&M University College of Law, earning Book Awards in six courses and serving as Executive Articles Editor of the FAMU Law Review.
Brandon’s leadership and teamwork skills were shaped by his experience as captain of the University of West Florida Men’s Soccer Team. Outside of work, he enjoys collecting new and vintage wristwatches, watching New Hollywood-era films, and distance running.
