Overview
Michael Swan focuses his practice on guardianship, estate planning, mental health law, and probate and trust administration. With a statewide practice and decades of experience, Mike assists families, fiduciaries, and professionals in navigating complex guardianship and mental health matters. A founding attorney of his former firm, he has practiced in these areas since 1985 and has served in substantive roles with The Florida Bar, contributing to the development of probate and mental health law at the statewide level.
Mike is deeply committed to his profession and community. He has held leadership positions with numerous organizations, including serving as Chairman of the Public Guardianship Program of Indian River County, Co‑Chair of the United Way Annual Campaign, Chairman of the Mental Health Collaborative, and as a member of the Indian River County Estate Planning Council. He currently serves as President of The Hundred Club of Indian River County, Treasurer of the Indian River Lacrosse Association, and on the Board of Directors of the Indian River Community Foundation.
