Overview

May-Soo Ide is a law clerk in the firm’s Commercial Leasing practice group, where she supports attorneys advising landlords and tenants on a range of commercial leasing matters.

Before joining the Commercial Leasing practice group, May-Soo served as a summer law clerk with Lowndes, gaining experience across its Corporate, Real Estate and Commercial Litigation practice groups. She previously worked as a law clerk with a full-service regional law firm, where she assisted with public finance transactions and affordable housing projects. She also served as an editor for the Institute of Intergovernmental Research.

May-Soo earned her J.D. from Emory University School of Law. During law school, she was selected as a 2025 Kessler-Eidson Scholar in recognition of her performance in the school’s intensive trial advocacy program. She was also a member of the Emory Corporate and Business Law Society.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in English and philosophy, magna cum laude, from Florida State University.
