Overview

James Doyle concentrates his practice on commercial real estate transactions, with an emphasis on acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing, and development. His clients include institutional investors, real estate investment trusts (REITs), developers, homebuilders, hotels and resorts, lenders, landlords, and tenants. His work encompasses a wide range of clients’ needs for their retail, office, hotel, multifamily, and industrial properties. In addition to servicing clients’ existing investments, James regularly supports the acquisition and disposition of large, multi-site portfolios throughout the United States. During his career, James has supported hundreds of real estate transactions totaling more than $2.5 billion.

Commercial real estate transactions rarely go exactly as planned. James has built his practice around helping clients navigate the unexpected, whether it's calibrating risk during contract negotiations, resolving issues during due diligence, restructuring agreements to meet changing business needs, or resolving disputes before they escalate.

Recognized as a Florida Super Lawyers® Rising Star, James combines thorough document review with a practical understanding of which terms are worth negotiating and which issues can be resolved with a phone call. He is highly regarded for his seamless integration of clients’ business objectives into his representation and his consistent ability to tailor legal strategies to meet clients’ needs. When issues do arise, he has experience guiding clients through disputes and obtaining exceptional results.

Active in Central Florida's commercial real estate community, James is a member of both the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). These connections keep him informed of market trends and allow him to better serve his clients’ evolving needs in the commercial real estate sector.
