Lowndes

Lowndes is pleased to welcome four new summer associates for 2024: Camilo Sansores, Mariana Monforte, Mohammed Khan, and Jordan Craig. They will be joining us for a nine-week program designed to provide hands-on experience and insight into our firm's operations.

We recruit associates mainly through our summer program, offering diverse work projects and numerous social opportunities, and uniquely engaging with law students both professionally and socially.

What drew you to Lowndes?
The culture. The attorneys at Lowndes are passionate about making a difference in the community. We don’t just help clients. Working at Lowndes means paying our civic dues.

What type of law/practice area are you interested in? Why?
As a former Broadway performer, I love creators and public speaking. For this reason, I hope to pursue a career in litigation and intellectual property law.

Mohammed Khan
Stetson University College of Law (1L)

What drew you to Lowndes?
After completing my first year of law school, I knew I wanted to absorb areas of law that engaged me. Naturally, I was drawn to Lowndes because of their commitment to investing and mentoring associates. I am positive this experience will bring me one step closer to becoming a skilled lawyer.

Mariana Monforte
Stetson University College of Law (2L)

What drew you to Lowndes?
The people! Throughout my interview process, everyone at Lowndes was so kind and welcoming. Since beginning my summer here, the supportive atmosphere I was originally greeted with has remained the same. I am immensely grateful to be working at a firm with such a strong sense of community.

What do you do for fun? Interests/hobbies.
For fun, I love to dance, and play pickleball and intramural softball! I’m also really fortunate to go to law school close to the beach, so I spend a lot of time there as well. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends!

Camilo Sansores

What drew you to Lowndes?
The people and the firm culture. Everyone is approachable and willing to teach.

Why did you decide to go to law school?
Becoming a lawyer has been my dream since I was 8 years old. Knowledge of the law is crucial in every aspect of society. I’m interested by all the practices at the firm, but I hope to integrate my interests, like technology, into my work, regardless of the area I end up specializing in.

What do you do for fun? Interests/hobbies.
Watch and play sports, cook, and spend time with family and friends.
