Lowndes advised Greystar Real Estate Partners in the development of 540-plus student housing units in Collegiate Village, an upscale, mixed-use project near the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Fla. Located on 50 acres on the southwest corner of University Boulevard and North Alafaya Trail, the housing will include more than 1,600 new student beds.

The student housing will be constructed on the east and west sides of Collegiate Village in two portions, including four, 5-story buildings with 366 student housing units (1,100 beds) on approximately 13 acres of land and another 176 units (511 beds) on 2.79 acres.

Construction, which is expected to begin in June 2021, should be completed by Fall 2023.

The Lowndes team included attorneys Rebecca Wilson (land use and zoning) and Quino Martinez (commercial real estate).
