Lowndes Advises Encore Capital Management on Mixed-use Community in Leesburg

Lowndes provided zoning and land use counsel to Encore Capital Management for the development of a mixed-use community in Leesburg, Fla., that will include 292 single-family detached lots, 138 townhomes, 288 multifamily units and 164,000 square feet of commercial property. Located on U.S. Highway 27 just east of Florida’s turnpike, this large planned development project received unanimous approval by the Leesburg City Commission on August 8, 2022.

Encore Capital Management is a vertically integrated real estate developer, operator, and institutional investment management firm based in Boca Raton, Fla. Encore, which developed Margaritaville Resort Orlando, also has investments in Miami, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa, Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, San Francisco, Portland, Jersey City and Phoenix.
