Lowndes provided zoning and land use services to Atlanta-based Seefried Industrial Properties in its role in developing a new last-mile fulfillment center for Seattle-based Amazon.com Inc. in Apopka, Fla.

SIF Apopka Distribution Center LLC, an entity formed through a partnership between Seefried and global asset manager Nuveen Real Estate, paid nearly $14.4 million for the 43.6-acre parcel of vacant land. Entitlements allow for the construction of a 201,475-square-foot distribution center. Known as “DFL5 Apopka Last Mile,” the warehouse development will include more than 1,550 parking spaces, including employee parking, van storage space and trailer box loading space.

Lowndes attorneys Rebecca Wilson, who chairs the firm’s Land Use, Zoning and Environmental Group, and McGregor Love assisted Seefried with the entitlement and due diligence process.
