Shareholder Laura Walda has been named to Winter Park Magazine’s “The Influentials 2026.” Recognized as “The Civic Champion,” Walda is featured for her community leadership and commitment to helping Winter Park thrive.

The profile highlights Walda’s involvement with local arts, cultural and civic organizations, including Central Florida Vocal Arts, Mead Botanical Garden, the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Gardens and the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce. It also spotlights her role on the board of the Winter Park Ideas Foundation, which is planning the Winter Ideas Festival in 2027 around the theme of belonging.

“My goal is to help make Winter Park a place where people of all ages can thrive; where we have a healthy, attractive business community; and where everyone feels a sense of belonging,” Walda told the magazine.

Walda was previously recognized by Winter Park Magazine as one of its “People to Watch” in 2021.
