Shareholder Rebecca Wilson was quoted in an August 4 Orlando Sentinel article covering a proposed 280-unit apartment development in Seminole County’s Wekiva Study Area.

Wilson represents Middleburg Acquisition of Maitland, the developer seeking to move forward with the project under Florida’s Live Local Act. The application was submitted prior to a legislative amendment that exempts the Wekiva Study Area from the law’s affordable housing provisions.

Wilson emphasized that the development complies with the law as it stood at the time of filing and should be allowed to proceed. The project aims to bring much-needed housing to a growing region while balancing environmental considerations.
