The session will explore the growing trend of lawyers serving as trustees for private and charitable trusts, as well as court‑created fiduciary structures. It will also examine the complex ethical considerations that arise when attorneys assume dual roles as both legal counsel and fiduciary, issues that are often not fully addressed in traditional estate planning or fiduciary training.
