Tracey Bracco is General Counsel, Fund Management of CNL Financial Group, a private investment management firm providing real estate and alternative investments to the broker-dealer and institutional investment communities.

How did your time at Lowndes prepare you for future steps in your career? 

I spent six years at Lowndes, leaving for in-house practice as a senior associate. I believe Lowndes and the law firm experience provided me with a wonderful education, exposing me to sophisticated and complex transactions which honed my negotiation and drafting skills and allowed me to add value when I transitioned in-house.

Share a favorite memory of your time at Lowndes. 

Some of my best memories from Lowndes are from my time as a summer associate between my 2L and 3L years of law school. Lowndes’ summer program offered exposure to various law practices and a collegial social experience. I had a wonderful time and, thereafter, was excited to know I would be starting my career there.

What is the best career advice you ever received? 

Don’t say no when you can say yes.

Who inspires you? 

My children inspire me every day. They are strong, smart and resilient.
