Joe practices a wide spectrum of construction law, including preparation of,or modification of standard forms for construction documents for commercial projects, including CM, CM at risk, stipulated sum, cost-plus/GMP and subcontract documents for all types of commercial projects. He also practices in the area of construction defects, including representation of claimants and defendants in defect claims, including related property insurance claims, general liability insurance claims, and builder’s risk insurance claims. He also handles public bid and procurement protests.
Joe is a member of the ABA Section on the Construction Industry and Tort Trial and Insurance Practice. He has served as both a binding and non-binding court-appointed arbitrator in arbitrations involving complex construction claims and disputes. He has also served as a mediator in numerous mediations over the years.
Actively involved in Boy Scout adult leadership, Joe serves as the Finance Chair for the Ft. Gatlin District of the Central Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America.
