Five Attorneys Named Shareholders at Lowndes
Orlando, FL – Lowndes is pleased to announce that Jyllian R. Bradshaw, Joseph A. Kovecses, Nicole C. Leath, Logan J. Opsahl, and Michael D. Piccolo have been elected shareholders in the firm. These promotions are effective February 1, 2026.

Bradshaw concentrates her practice on representing management in a broad range of employment issues, labor matters, litigation, and counseling. She represents employers in collective bargaining and union matters, as well as the defense of employment disputes, such as claims of discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, and compensation violations. Admitted to practice law in Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, Bradshaw earned her law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law and her bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida.
Kovecses helps property owners, developers, and businesses successfully navigate Florida’s complex land use, zoning, and code enforcement landscape. He combines deep knowledge of local regulations with more than a decade of litigation experience to deliver practical, strategic solutions that move projects forward. Kovecses graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, summa cum laude, and received a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Central Florida.
Leath focuses her practice on real estate transactions, real estate development, and commercial leasing. She guides clients through all aspects of buying, selling, leasing and financing commercial real estate, particularly in the retail and hospitality industries. Her clients include developers, owners, operators, investors, lenders, borrowers, property managers, and real estate investment trusts (REITs). Leath earned her law degree and bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, graduating cum laude and summa cum laude, respectively.
Opsahl focuses his practice on land use, eminent domain, local government issues, and commercial real estate transactions. He represents developers, homebuilders, landlords, tenants and franchisees in a wide range of matters involving the acquisition, disposition, and development of commercial real estate. Opsahl received his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Florida State University.
Piccolo handles civil litigation matters for businesses and individuals, specializing in commercial litigation, real estate disputes, construction litigation, and probate and trust litigation across Florida and beyond. He represents clients in both state and federal courts and has experience litigating complex cases from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal. Piccolo earned his law degree and bachelor's degree from Florida State University.
