Shareholder Dan McIntosh was quoted in the Orlando Business Journal discussing the challenge and potential pitfalls that clients are experiencing in the current commercial real estate market.
"Commercial real estate, like most industries, is grappling with staffing shortages. The sheer number of [sales], coupled with the lack of availability of title examiners, closing agents, surveyors, site inspectors, environmental engineers, and other third parties involved in a transaction results in slowdowns," said McIntosh. "Given the many potential delays, the establishment of realistic timelines and backup plans are essential to transactions closing timely and successfully."
