• Representation of real estate lenders since 1976.
• Counsel for national Real Estate Investment Trust in acquisition of hotel, restaurant, golf course, and other portfolios.
• Lead attorney for $140 million acquisition financing of 22 golf course portfolio.
• Lead counsel for municipal bond issuer, $40.5 million bond financing for continuing care retirement community.
• Lead attorney negotiator for contract to purchase hospital site at Lake Nona.
• Lead attorney for borrower, $80 million interim financing for acquisition and development of performing arts center.
• Lead counsel for the lender/new owner/workout of $105 million loan on busted condominium conversion project with deed in lieu of foreclosure and $89 million of new financing.
• Counsel for Orange County Research and Development Authority since 1980 in its development, management and marketing of the 1000-acre Central Florida Research Park.
• Issuer’s counsel for $30 million bond issue by Orange County Educational Facilities Authority to finance and refinance Rollins College projects.
• Issuer’s counsel for bond issues exceeding $100 million by Orange County Health Facilities Authority for Florida Hospital and Orlando Regional Healthcare System financing of hospital projects.
• Counsel for the UCF Foundation in acquisition of Rosen School of Hospitality Management land and other projects in the Central Florida Research Park.
• Represent hotel owners in sales of Miami, Tampa and Orlando hotels.
• Long term counsel to developer of 200-acre mixed use development in Osceola County, including land acquisition, land use approvals, and infrastructure development; construction contract, franchise agreement and management agreement for 718 room hotel; construction and lease-up of 45,000 square foot retail strip center, 280 unit apartment complex, and sale of subdivided parcels over a 15-year period.
