Representative Client Experience
- As lead trial counsel, successfully resolved a multi-million dollar fraud action in favor of ADESA Corporation, which owns and/or operates approximately 30 auto auctions in the United States and Canada.
- Was successful in getting a national accounting firm dismissed from a lawsuit on the grounds that the claims alleged by a local tourist attraction could not be substantiated and if not dismissed, the firm would seek sanctions and attorneys' fees against the claimant.
- Tried and won an undue influence case to set aside the will and trust of the decedent, an elderly widow, who had lived alone in South Florida. The case was brought on behalf of the decedent's two granddaughters against their grandmother's neighbor, who had actively procured execution of the will, trust and several amendments thereto by improper conduct.
- Successfully tried a contested guardianship matter as lead trial counsel for a member of the Borden Milk family and prevailed in having a neutral third party appointed as guardian over competing petitions by family members.
- Has handled numerous complex commercial cases, contested guardianships, will contests and trust litigation matters through trial and/or resolution.
