Representative Client Experience

• Lead outside real estate counsel for Commercial Net Lease Realty, a NYSE REIT, on a variety of portfolio acquisitions, dispositions and merger related transactions, with a deal volume in excess of $500 million.
• Assisted in-house general counsel on a daily basis with overseeing and handling legal work for publicly traded company.
• Lead counsel for equity development joint venture program throughout the country for Commercial Net Lease Realty Services, a taxable REIT subsidiary.
• Counsel for First American Exchange Company on a variety of reverse 1031 exchanges.
• Extensive experience in representing 1031 buyers in 1031 exchanges, construction exchanges, and reverse exchanges.
• Lead counsel for acquisition of several class A office towers out of bankruptcy with a deal value in excess of $170 million.
• Lead counsel for the acquisition of a large portfolio of retail properties from retailers out of bankruptcy and the disposition of said assets.
