Representative Client Experience
- Represents commercial lenders, lessors and equity holders in medium and large size Chapter 11 bankruptcy and out of court workouts and restructurings.
- Representative clients include: CNL Financial Services, LP, CNL American Properties Fund, Inc., CNL APF Partners and Capital Crossing Bank.
- Experience in all aspects of Chapter 11 practice from first day motions, DIP financing, cash collateral, stay litigation, plan litigation and post confirmation litigation.
- Represents creditors and debtors in Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases, and adversary litigation involving exemptions, discharge and dischargeability matters.
- Experience in many large restaurant workouts and bankruptcy proceedings involving some of the largest restaurant operations in the United States, including Burger King®, Roadhouse Grill, Arby’s, Houlihan’s, Sonic and Chevy’s. Mr. Beal currently serves as co-chair of the Unsecured Creditors Committee in the Chevy’s bankruptcy pending in Oakland, California.
